With her strong signature look and even stronger personality, Claudia Winkleman is pretty much everyone’s favourite TV presenter. But does she dance into every day with a spring in her (quick)step? And is she 100% faithful to caring for her wellbeing? We grabbed a few moments of her time to find out what her typical day looks like – including when she takes her Cannaray Sea Moss gummies.
What time do you wake up and what’s your first thought?
I wake up early, probably 6.30. I used to sleep for hours and hours but I think I’m hormonally challenged. I also have a new puppy so I can’t wait to get up and lick him. My first thought is ‘I must cuddle Skip.’

What are your must-have vitamins and supplements?
I’m pretty useless. I think ‘I must take this,’ and that and then I forget. The one constant is Cannaray capsules. I take two a day and I am in love with them.

You're known for TV's Strictly, but what does your own workout routine look like? How do you fuel up or recover?
I don’t really believe in exercise but I love a walk round the park. Last year I started doing pilates and really liked it. It’s just the leggings and the faff that I have an issue with. If I can’t bother the kids and I’m not working then I’d rather be napping.

When did you last dance for joy?
About two weeks ago with our family. There was Baileys. I adore dancing. I’m absolutely awful at it but I’ll definitely give it a go.

At what point in the day are you most and least stressed?
I am definitely the least stressed when I get into bed at the end of the day. And when I say ‘the end’ I basically mean 8pm. I am singularly the most boring person on the planet and I like a blackcurrant squash and a book and bed.

Stress levels in the day vary depending on what I’m doing. I’m extremely lucky in the fact I have the greatest girlfriends on the planet – when I get a bit angsty I call them and they know what to do. We do it for each other.

You can only choose one Cannarary product – what is it and why?
This is a very difficult decision. I’d have to say the capsules as they’re such a massive part of my routine, I take them without thinking. And when I remember (!), the sea moss gummies are delicious and rammed with goodness.

You juggle so many projects – what keeps you grounded?
I have lots of time off between them, so I’m mostly in the kitchen making fried egg sandwiches and chatting to the dog.

How do you rest and recharge on a weekend?
I eat delicious food. I love roast chicken, and my family and I watch films all together and chat and play cards. I never seem to know where my phone is and that’s the sign of a successful day.

You have an iconic look – where do you get your beauty and wellbeing inspiration?
I always wanted to look like a mix between Chrissie Hynde, Captain Jack Sparrow and Alice Cooper. If I get anywhere close then I’m on the right track.

Have you ever taken sea moss in other forms? Why do you prefer the supplement?
I’ve never taken it in other forms and this one is really good. I will take it for life.

What’s the one thing that always turns a bad day into a good one?
A laugh.

What’s your secret to a good night’s sleep?
I don’t have a secret and I’m currently not brilliant at it. I think the key is not to worry too much about it and take a nap whenever you can. I had 15 minutes today at 1pm and it was magical.

Which trend are you excited to try next?
CBD and sea moss is all I need. I’d like to mention the word ‘microbiome’ here but I still have no idea what that means...
