“I brought these 3 days ago and made a stir fry tbey tasted great as long as they are well seasoned and despite the over cooked squid like consistency and foul smell from the vacum pack but im still vomiting still extremely bloated and whats coming up but tjese undigested noodles ... are they plastic??? Never ever again 1 star is too much of a great review tbh”

Texture almost unbearable.
“I just couldn't tolerate the texture of these. It was like chewing threw strands of rubber or something similar. They also had a peculiar smell. I'd steer well clear from now on.”

Barenaked noodles
“Konyaku noodels are essential to my dietary plans, and the Barenaked brand is a significant technological advance; the noodles are white rather than clear, and in strands rather than bunches - so are superior to other brands. The only downside is the chicanery around declared weights (common to all konyaku noodle suppliers), which makes price comparison treacherous; as the noodles must be delivered in liquid, the drained weight vs full weight is rather important. Barenaked seems to be delivered in a minimum amount of liquid (good) but the drained weight is 350g, not the 380g claimed. Greater clarity and honesty from manufacturers and resellers on this point would be appreciated. I would buy the product again, though it is not the cheapest, but would continue to check whether it is of comparable value. I note in the ingredients there is the addition of rice flour and pea flour (presumably to give opaqueness) but no indication of any increase in calorific values, so either the amount is small or the calorie breakdown inaccurate - for now I will believe it.”
