The One!
“The one lipbalm to rule them all! Yes, seriously. This is a "holy grail" product and I´m so happy that I bought several at the same time because, as usual, this one seems to be discontinued (like all other customer favourites). Absolutely gutted! I don´t understand why companies keep doing that. Doesn´t make the least bit of sense. So the lipbalm is super soft, keeps the lips soft really long and smells wonderfully like coconut. Unlike other lipbalms, I rarely have to re-apply every hour. It gives the lips a subtle shine and somehow seems to bring out their best natural colour. I bought it as I thought that it´d smell like roses, but the Rosa Centifolia really must be the tiniest extract, because you cannot smell it at all (which is the only downside). The coconut scent is wonderful though! The texture is pleasantly oily (just like putting coconut oil on), yet nowhere greasy or sticky. If you have really full lips, like say anyone of African ethnicity, you will really love this one as fuller lips tend to dry faster. The coconut scent isn´t overwhelming, but just right. The way I´ve tried it is the following: 1. In -18C Scandinavian winter months (rarely had to re-apply!) 2. I swept my hair past the lips and they didn´t stick to it like other lipbalms do. Just about. 3. I´ve used it for almost a year now. It tastes like coconut as well, but not in an overwhelming way 4. Doesn´t slip and slide beneath lipstick 5. Can be used as a subtle highlighter without irritating the skin (or making it sticky) Other conclusions: 6. The design is good (oval shape) and I like it because I can either turn it to the wide side, putting on a wider surface. Or I can turn it just to use the very edge/tip of it 7. The packaging is simple enough and the ingredients are clearly written 8. It´s got a paper print on and that makes it easier to not slip off your fingers 9. Among the lipbalms at H&B without cocoa butter, thank God! Which makes some people get swollen lips (allergic reaction)”

Lovely fragrance and texture.
“This Skin and Tonic Rose lip balm smells and tastes lovely. It glides on smoothly and leaves my lips soft. I would have preferred the tube and its tip to be rounder. The tip is too thin and doesn't cover my lips without repeated applications. I will purchase this product again from Holland and Barrett and highly recommend it.”
