Autumn fruit crumble

Everyone loves a home-made crumble – and this one, made with juicy seasonal fruit and a crunchy topping, is just delicious. No refined sugars Serves 4-6 Prep time 15 minutes Cook time 45 minutes


  • 1 Bramley apple
  • 400g ripe red plums
  • 200g blackberries
  • Pinch cinnamon *
  • 3 cloves *
  • 2 tbsp runny honey *

Step 1 Heat the oven to 190ºC/170ºC/gas mark 5. Peel the apple, core and chop into small chunks. Stone the plums and chop roughly. Place in a baking dish with the blackberries. Add the cloves and cinnamon, and drizzle the honey over. Step 2 Put the flour and cold butter cubes in a bowl and rub in lightly using your fingers until the mixture resembles large breadcrumbs. Mix through the ground almonds and coconut blossom nectar. Step 3 Heap the crumble mixture on top of the fruit and cook for 35-45 mins until the fruit is bubbling.
