Manuka Doctor has long been one of our best-selling, Manuka honey-based brands – with customers eager to get hold of the New Zealand-harvested honey that Manuka Doctor is known for. The MGO (Methylglyoxal) rating on the bottle relates to a measurement of the strength of the honey, the higher the number the more potent it is. Manuka honey is derived from DHA which is naturally present in the nectar of the Manuka Bush. Within the hive, DHA undergoes the Maillard reaction to form MGO.

This is genuine, New Zealand government-certified monofloral Manuka honey, 100% New Zealand origin. Produced by the daily routine of bees collecting pollen mainly from an indigenous New Zealand plant known as the Manuka bush (Leptospermum Scoparium) as well a small amount of nectar from other plants. Manuka Doctor laboratory-test and verify each-and-every batch they produce, before it leaves the Land of the Long White Cloud.
