Quinoa seeds, known as grain, come from a flowering plant in the amaranth family, and were referred to as the “mother grain” by the ancient Incas of the Andes, known as a complete plant protein. Our Royal Quinoa grain is organically grown and minimally processed to preserve nutrients. It is considered to be premium quality, with a large grain, mild nutty taste and fuffy texture once cooked. Quinoa is a healthier and gluten-free alternative to traditional carbs such as pasta and rice, and can be used as an accompaniment with meals, or added to salads and savoury dishes.
