Once something not to be discussed, now a hot topic at brunches and on social media amongst some of our favourite celebrities. The normalisation of the menopause has helped women all over the UK.

What is menopause?
Put simply: it’s the stage in life when your periods have stopped for 12 months or more.1
You can also experience signs of menopause for a few years before your periods stop, which is known as perimenopause.
Like anything, your experience of the menopause will probably be different from your friends, so if something doesn’t feel right it’s best to go speak to a GP who’ll be able to help.
There are eight common menopause symptoms2 that are usually widely known (hot flashes, hair thinning, night sweats etc.), but there can actually be up to 34 symptoms of menopause.
